In the face of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), CCPIT has changed its thinking and innovated its measures to adjust to the new condition to provide diversified services for enterprises. It has taken measures to help enterprises cope with the impact of the epidemic, and to stabilize foreign trade and foreign investment.
CCPIT has conducted a comprehensive survey through various channels to learn the situation of virus-hit domestic and foreign enterprises, and to reflect their bottlenecks and problems and give them suggestions.
Focusing on the concerns of enterprises, CCPIT held a series of online video lectures. It invited legal experts and representatives from various industries to explain the questions like the implementation of the contact, disputes, settlement and etc. under the influence of the epidemic, so as to help enterprises solve the crisis and cope with the epidemic.
After the outbreak of the epidemic, some countries with large-scale exhibitions have taken emergency measures to restrict entry of Chinese personnel, cancel flights and so on, which make our foreign trade enterprises unable to participate in the exhibition, and their payment cannot be returned. CCPIT has contacted relevant exhibition enterprises through Internet, telephone, e-mail and other ways, providing legal services for enterprises to minimize the economic losses of exhibitors and exhibition organizers.
In addition, CCPIT has utilized the Internet channels to release information on trade and investment projects, helping enterprises find more cooperation, and promoting the resumption of economic and trade exchanges. After the epidemic, CCPIT will hold large-scale economic and trade activities to help Chinese manufacturing and services go global, and to help enterprises resume exports. It also plans to organize trade and investment promotion groups for key markets or industries to boost enterprises to develop diversified markets, stabilizing and deepening the construction of Belt and Road.
