The EU Chamber of Commerce in China has been working to promote awareness of innovation towards enterprises and the public. In response to the national innovation driven development strategy and Ningweifa No.1 regarding building a famous innovative city with global influence , and in order to stimulate an innovative consciousness, a positive atmosphere towards enterprises and the public, as well as build a platform with regards to issues of innovation within enterprises and social institutions, the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China holds the EUCCC's "1st Innovation Fair 2018" on May 23. CCPIT Nanjing Sub-Council is one of the supporters.

The Innovation Fair aims to raise awareness of science, technology and innovation among public and private enterprises, as well as to foster public understanding of innovation. The forum brings together innovators, investors, policymakers, and industry leaders from across the country to Nanjing. This event provides an opportunity for multinationals, start-ups and incubators to pitch their technology solutions and requirements and to match in pre-arranged meetings.
