A memorandum of understanding on cooperation was signed between the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) of the People’s Republic of China and the Ministry of Economic Development of Honduras on June 12. The two sides reached a consensus to establish a cooperative relationship and actively promote the business communities of both countries to support and participate in the Belt and Road Initiative. Building upon cooperation in trade, agriculture, infrastructure, investment and financing, both sides aim to strengthen cooperation in the digital economy, intelligent manufacturing, clean energy and low-carbon technologies. The two sides will actively promote the establishment of a consultation and dialogue platform for business communities, organize mutual visits between economic and trade delegations, and create more trade and investment opportunities for Chinese and Honduran enterprises.
